works well when it does things other than POS

New update Wow, another Chinese made device that works for a while and then fails. My 2nd, 3rd and 4th computers are again connected to this router with 2 bd590 DVD players. Couldn't allow network access tonight. I can only thank comcrap for the 4 port modem. I already have 3 of these supposed routers and the last one failed after 3 weeks. Now I'm not a noob in this environment as I'm 73 years old and have been doing this since the early 60's just another example of a failed product, more rubbish for the public and rating ZERO need a router renewed every 2 weeks needs to get started, then this product is for you. My third in 4 months thanks to Revain's excellent support. I am completely amazed that this product is available with the weakness it has. By the way, I was involved in IT in the late 60's and early 70's before IT even existed by designing and building university level networks and I think this product is not acceptable in the current market.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Easy maintainability
