Review on LIMICAR SBC Steel Core Rubber Valve Cover Gaskets - Small Block SB Chevy (350, 305, 283, 327, 400, 383) - 7484BOX by Jim Bethea

Bought for their steel core to keep their shape for easy installation. They arrived in a very large box, the pads with a cardboard sleeve are about 1/2 inch thick, the box is 6 inches deep. Despite all care, they were clogged with spacers, didn't stay straight, both had many small bends that I had to straighten (the steel core is very soft). I expected the steel core to be very similar to a cylinder head gasket that would not bend or deform easily. Maybe it should be, I tried them to see how much better they are than traditional cork pads. Time will tell, so I can't give a high rating yet!
