The good news is that this case is very light. The bad news is that it's so light that the slightest breeze will blow it away when trying to put it on or take it out of the car. It seemed to hold up very well for the 20 days of my absence despite the climatic weather. I recommend either having someone help you put it on and take it off so it doesn't trap air, or use a couple of heavy rocks to hold it up while you maneuver around the car. Forward down until I was gone. (works very well) What I've learned is that it's best to put a towel or foam or whatever underneath where the bungee hooks are. The fabric thickness is not enough to protect the surface from possible scratches from the cable ends. Otherwise, it holds up well and packs up nicely. PS I have antennas in the middle of the roof of my car - instead of cutting a hole for them I just reinforced the area that would be taped over the short antennas.
