Pleasant to the touch, odorless, but concerns about processing

The expectations for a $40 towel are quite high. I order them consciously because they are made of bamboo, which is odorless and very pleasant on the skin. In this area, this towel lives up to expectations. After washing, towels become very soft but very heavy and absorb a lot of water when drying after showering. They certainly feel very luxurious and I can't imagine ever going back to a lighter towel. On the other hand, I have two problems with these wipes. The color is not quite white, more yellowish, like a smoker's teeth. The color isn't that bad, it's easy to get used to, but it's not white when you're trying to match all the colors in your bathroom. For me, the advantages of bamboo and the high weight of the towels easily outweigh the slightly yellowish color. Another point is the processing quality. I bought two of these towels and both arrived with loose threads along the edges of the towel and a few loose threads in the towel itself. I followed the detailed instructions on how to wash towels properly and the threads are still there so I use very small scissors to trim them cleanly. I've had the towels for a little over two weeks and haven't seen any quality issues with these loose threads but only time will tell. At $40 a towel, I expect better craftsmanship. So the question is, are towels really $40 a piece? The issue of craftsmanship worries me, but the material of the towels, how they feel, how heavy they are, and how they resist any smell is a positive answer. I will probably be ordering more of these for my other bathrooms over the next few months and will try smaller towels as well. I hope the craftsmanship improves by then but overall I'm happy with the towels.
