While I don't need a chair that can support 450 lbs (I'm 6'3", 215 lbs tall), I thought this chair would have more padding to support a heavy one. Unfortunately , it doesn't. . In general, this chair is quite uncomfortable. It doesn't have a waterfall front edge, instead the entire seat tilts up slightly. The backrest is at an awkward angle to the seat, has too much lumbar spine, and is too strong padded. The seat should have more padding and less rear. Also, the chair is a regular recliner, not a kneeling recliner, so when I recline, the chair puts pressure on my legs if I don't lower the height - but when I do sitting forward I have to lift the chair back to where it was. The backrest is high. The chair is not bad but I do not recommend it. o for another room and this chair has a knee recline and a wasse Drop front edge with a little more padding on the seat bottom. Revain also has a $350, 400-pound chair that has knee tilt that I can try.
