I have a red-eared slider in a 120 gallon aquarium. In the past 4 years since it was the size of a cookie I have tried many types and brands of food. The Wardley sticks are the undeniable winners. The turtle, who is now about a foot long and still growing in small increments, loves them and they also make the least mess, so we're both happy! Other sticks and granules quickly crumbled and formed a huge mess, which did not please me, who had to clean up the mess, nor the turtle, who had to swim in this mess. Her demeanor shows that she prefers this food to other brands I've tried. Some other foods she was reluctant to eat and even refused some, but she still squirts to get attention and immediately swims up to devour it when she sees me with this container in hand. My turtle sometimes likes other foods like dried river shrimp, krill. Pellets and even goldfish, but Wardley Sticks are their staple and daily diet, which clearly makes them very healthy and happy. I always buy large containers as they store well and can be refilled to reduce the frequency of ordering again in my schedule.
