The fit and finish on this case is perfect. The gray has a hint of blue/purple in it, so that's not your monitor color, that's legit. I like it, though.I had purchased a cheap "leather" case that started to fall apart, and when I put this case on my phone instead I realized there's a big difference between cases that are trying to be something they aren't, and cases that are exactly what they're trying to be.The wonderfully tactile case is, I think, silicone coating over stiff plastic, so there's no flippity floppity nonesense around the edges - except for the bottom, but that allows you to put the phone in without breaking the frame. My screen protector has an even 1/8 inch of space between it and the edge all the way around, and the phone can be placed face-down without the protector touching the table. I'm used to the Otterbox Commuter case on my previous phones, and I honestly like this way more, and I'm not sure I really needed the extra protection. Setting the phone face-up isn't as annoying when I get a vibration. I like the microcloth in the back, but I never notice it of course.If I had to complain about one thing, it would be that it's a little grabby when I'm trying to pull my phone out of my pocket. I guess that comes with the territory, though. It doesn't pick up grease or fuzz too much, but when it does it's easy to wipe clean.For the price, I highly recommend giving them a try. They are what they appear to be, and aren't going to break easy or start falling apart after a month.
