Review on 🔧 Thread Repair Kit (1208-101) - Enhance thread repair with advanced Thread Kits by William Mathis

I have a 40 year old chainsaw that works great but the parts are wearing out. The last were the muffler bolts; with one broken off. My options were to either force the bolt to a larger size or overthread the bolt to a larger size. Since the muffler is bolted directly to the cylinder head, I didn't feel comfortable either. This kit allowed me to use the original screw! Although I had to drill a hole, it didn't actually enlarge it, just removed old, worn and torn threads. Drilling, inserting the coil and installing the silencer took only 10 minutes. The only thing that could improve this kit is the T-bar that attaches to the tap and spool insertion tool. But for the money it's worth it, who cares!
