🔧 Thread Repair Kit (1208-101) - Enhance thread repair with advanced Thread Kits Review

Received the kit today, read the instructions and started repairing a broken thread on my table saw. The product worked great and the installation was easy, the instructions were good. The set was well packaged and the service was very fast - what more could you ask for!

I used this kit to repair a broken thread mill base. I simply drilled the recommended size holes, tapped new threads for the inserts and installed the inserts with some Loctite. It only took a few minutes and has been working great ever since.

I used these inserts on a fx Bobcat airgun stock to attach a bipod rail. The shaft is made from a lightweight polymer and I preferred to have the bolt metal to metal rather than screwing the bolt directly into the polymer. it worked like a charm.

This kit contains the parts needed to repair a stripped threaded hole. You may also need a drill and something to act as a faucet handle. The hardest part of the process was trying to figure out the thread pitch so I could buy the right size. The kit worked great, my broken threads are now restored.

I have a 40 year old chainsaw that works great but the parts are wearing out. The last were the muffler bolts; with one broken off. My options were to either force the bolt to a larger size or overthread the bolt to a larger size. Since the muffler is bolted directly to the cylinder head, I didn't feel comfortable either.
