I was looking for a good pair of sneakers that could be used as a versatile shoe for everyday wear and casual basketball. I don't play basketball very regularly anymore but still love shoes with great features so they look great for a reasonable price but in real life they don't look as good as the pictures and I couldn't get over the clumsiness. Aesthetics. Appearance - When looking at these shoes, the combination of a wide sole and swelling around the ankle catches the eye. It added to the jogger-like material and unique look of the sock to put me off. I've included photos comparing them to a pair of Jordan 11s and you can see how different they are from each other. True to size - they fit a bit wider and longer. So if you like a slim fit and your size is usually a little loose, I would suggest ordering half a size down. Given the loose fit, you'd expect stability to suffer, but surprisingly that's not the case. Stability - The wide outsole does a great job of providing stability and combined with great traction and excellent toe and heel support you can make sudden changes of direction with confidence. Combined with their lightness and great grip, these shoes are ideal for explosive players. In my opinion, they're a bit better for offense than defense, but they're definitely an excellent choice. Cushioning - Cushioning is good, but not exceptional. Not on par with the Air Max or Jordan 11, but still good. All in all, if you love looks and value stability, this is a good buy. For great quality but poor style for off-court use I give it 3 stars.
