Review on Mustang Free Head Horse Collar by Paul Bijeaux

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Size matters. suitable for other sports

I really like the concept of the collar. I just wish it was small and medium sized too. There are many holes for size adjustment. to use a heated nail to make more holes in the collar to fit my hackney pony who has a 27" neck and also to add holes for my 3 year old Arabian horse and pinto. Note: This particular collar is best suited for larger breed horses. on the side the price is super collar in the form of two circles on each side for tying a cross and a bottom slip ring for a leash Strongly made and the straps are double-layered for strength, which is very important to me The smallest size, from buckle to to the hole, is 32 inches. The hole furthest from the buckle, going around the horse's neck near the ears, is 42 inches long. I have found that the paint bleeds when wet so rinse thoroughly before dressing your horse. Customization is also important. . Too loose and the horse could slip over the ears. Too tight and the horse doesn't have enough headroom to comfortably pull his head in. Hope this review helps.
