Fixed my non working driver's door lock on our 2013 Toyota Highlander Limited. The part was 99% exactly the same as the OEM part except the new part has a few nicks/slots on the motor housing which may help the motor breathe better and possibly last longer. It's only been a day but features are 100% as intended - will be updated if ever out of service. Recommendation on replacement procedure: I am an experienced DIY and backyard mechanic and this took me 2 hours (first try). DO NOT TRY UNLESS you have extensive experience removing car door panels and opening plastic clamshell crates. I found the clamshell case to be the easiest because I could open the case wide enough to swap out the drive motor without completely removing both halves. Reinstalling the finished drive assembly was the biggest challenge, as multiple mechanical connections had to be aligned at once with limited backlash.
