You can do without it
I'm not sure why this kitchen should please I've claimed cooks on TV. Maybe for people who have trouble with mashing, but after that you still have to add and mix, so what's the point. However, it makes the potatoes quite creamy. I'm sure there are other uses that I haven't discovered yet, but I only bought them for mashed potatoes. If I find many more uses I will increase the rating but for now I could live without them
