Review on 💡 Lamp Replacement by Shane Jenkins

The lamp housing was found to be OK and the lamp itself was undamaged. The demolition of the old dwelling was a simple matter. One screw holding the plate and two screws holding the case and then it slipped out. This replacement case went in right away, although the screws didn't seem to line up properly. I confirmed that the case was positioned correctly, but no matter what, the screws were not aligned with 100% accuracy. I managed to secure them enough to keep the case in place. I turned the panel back on and plugged everything in and as soon as I turned it back on everything seemed to work fine for a few seconds. until it just flashed and went out (but the power was still on). I turned off the power, waited about 5 minutes, restarted it and again, for a few seconds everything seemed fine, but this time when it was turned off it made a noise like a high pitched howl, like the fan turned faster. and a little faster. Whatever it was I didn't want to risk burning out the bulb and not being able to get a refund so I pulled out a new case/bulb and sent it back. Too bad there seem to be so many of these third-party lamps out there. it's just bad quality.
