Bought two of these bulbs to use as a heat source in an iguana enclosure. The first bulb lasted a whopping 96 hours. These two bulbs were placed in a crate with no packaging material, meaning the bulbs shifted around during shipping. Not suitable for incandescent lamps. A $12 lamp should last more than 96 hours. The only reason I gave it 2 stars was that at least the second bulb now works as expected.
