Thick enough to prevent leaks and breakage.
I bought this product to try to be more sustainable by reducing the amount of non-biodegradable plastic. This product is biodegradable and will help with that. It's thick enough to be easily tampered with if you toss it in the bin and strong enough to be ripped out, tied up and tossed in a large bin. I'm so different from those super thin pouches that stick to your fingers, you can hardly open them because they stick together so badly and tear easily. This is a good product and I would recommend it to anyone trying to reduce non-biodegradable plastic. I paid full price for it by the way and will probably buy it again.
