So I bought these and they look great and fit with the ability to crop them, the problem is that not only are they toxic but they smell too. I wasn't aware that you have to wash your hands after touching them and that they contain lead as described by other reviewers. It's reasonable to assume that when it's hot, more heat is released to the surface and into the air, meaning you can track it through your shoes into your home. In doing so, we noticed that our car was starting to have this horrible smell, but we didn't associate it with the floor mats. After steam cleaning the car several times and paying for an air conditioning cleaning to no avail, we found that the smell started when we put these floor mats in. Now that we removed the mats 1 day ago the smell is almost completely gone. Unfortunately, the description does not clearly address toxicity issues, and as for the smell, the buyer should be wary, especially if you live in high temperature and humidity environments. These mats make your car smell like something died in it.
