First of all, I don't know why everyone buys the gasket shown in the "Frequently Bought Together" section. My original dishwasher didn't have a gasket between it and the top spout it screws into and I've never had water under the dishwasher. I've also done 5 or 6 refills with this atomizer and can say the same. No washing machine and no leaks. I removed the panel from the bottom of the dishwasher to check this. Don't buy a washing machine overpriced! If you get OCD over a washing machine, you can easily find a compatible one at the hardware store for 50 cents. As for the part itself, it fits perfectly in my dishwasher. The original model used a ball-in-socket compression connection, which simply wore out after a while, resulting in the sprinkler becoming disconnected from time to time with simple water pressure. The new one is much stronger as you have to break the part to accidentally release the snaps. My only complaint and downside to this part is that the difference in clutch design means the part does not rotate. how simple. Sometimes it gets stuck and won't spin for a minute or two, if not for the entire cycle. (I've been testing by opening the door every few minutes on initial startup to see how the thing behaves. Okay, maybe I'm being a bit obsessive.) As they say, it works! The paraphernalia above appear to be getting as clean as the original design before it started to fail. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. Reducing the amount of rotation doesn't change the cleanliness of the dishes and is a welcome compromise as I know this thing won't come loose and leave me with a dirty top rack. And you're gullible when you buy that stupid pad.
