Highly surprised with the quality of this bed. It's very sturdy and the fabric feels nice. The color is soft beige. Very neutral feel.It sits much higher than I expected which is a plus. I'm used to low beds so having a bed on the higher side is a nice change. I didn't use a box spring. Just my standard queen mattress. The head board is adjustable so if you have a mattress that's not so thick you can lower it. At its tallest, a box spring still wouldn't work with this frame.I was able to put it together by myself in about an hour. The instructions were one page front and back. VERY SIMPLE! It came with all tools needed and a few extra screws. Only downside is I live on the 3rd floor in a walk up and the box weighs about 40 pounds so getting it upstairs was a complete mess!Totally recommend!
