This free motion ruler is designed for use on low shank household sewing machines. Rulers for low shank machines can be difficult to find; Most of the free motion rules were originally developed for long arm sewing machines and can also be used on high shaft sewing machines. You should read the descriptions carefully because even if you search for "low shank rulers" you often get references to high shank rulers which are too thick (usually 1/4 inch) to run on a low shank machine shank to be used. This line is inexpensive; Many lines are very expensive. Works well. I wish there were more choices in low shank rulers, especially curves and waves.
