Bits do not correspond to actual size, actual size is much smaller than declared.
If irwin had said their drills were the wrong size and a smaller diameter, I might not have broken my chair leg drilling to install a roller anchor. Thanks Irwin 3/8 measures .346 versus .375. This was enough to cause a problem.
