The vacuum cleaner itself is powerful and it's handy that it's rechargeable. However, I was under the impression that the replacement filter in the vacuum cleaner would be thinner and more intact with the machine itself, but could only capture larger particles. Definitely do not use it to remove small particles such as sanded wood or 3D prints. It will come out of the filter and spread to the area you just cleaned. My keyboard is near the area where I sand my prototypes and I bought this in hopes that it could remove all the dust from my keyboard. Yes, but most of it goes back to the keyboard. You may be able to use this vacuum cleaner for fine particles if you replace the round filter with two or three cotton circles.
