Review on LG UBK90: The Ultimate 4K Ultra-HD Blu-ray Player with Dolby Vision (2018) by Ameer Kobblewood

Nice picture first, I paired it with a 75 inch LG TV. Works for what you buy it for. However, this is a really awkward device to use. paired with an LG TV which to my dismay was the reason I bought this 'fit' product. Input source (cable, Roku, etc.) But no. If you try this, the TV will switch back to the 4k player. And again. And turn it on again. So you try to take out the disc and try again. Does not make a difference. The device restarts and the TV switches again. How about leaving the drive powered on and switching to a new source? Nice try, but as soon as you turn off the disc player, it restarts and switches the TV source again. Why? I've tried every possible shutdown option, the only option is to turn off the TV and then turn off the disc player. r, wait for it to restart, then turn off the disc player again. Finally, if the disc contains an episodic TV series, it doesn't "remember" where you've been. I had this feature on disc players ten years ago. If you have an LG TV, I suggest looking elsewhere.
