Review on πŸ”Œ DEWENWILS Programmable Wireless Control for HRLSXXA: Effortless Convenience at Your Fingertips by Alex Smith

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Unfortunately they don't work. Very disappointed with the quality.

I like that they are easy and convenient to use, just screw in the cartridge and add a bulb. Unfortunately, it all ends here. I used 4 of these in my basement. This is an old house so the lights in the basement are wired and connected to various circuits that are difficult to cycle through and turn them all on and off. The programming instructions are very unclear, so I can't be sure if I'm confused or not. It mentions deleting the socket and deleting the socket again. I think they meant a lightbulb instead of an outlet both times? Anyway the controllers sometimes turned on 2 lights at the same time, sometimes they turned on NO lights or 3 out of 4 lights. Single keys, like 1 or 2, turned on or off multiple groups of lights. I figured this must be my fault. Read the instructions and press and hold the button on each device to turn it off. Then fix it by holding it again and waiting for the light to flash, then use the remote control. I've done this carefully with each device, assigning a device to a button, each of which has been done correctly. I repeated this process several times. It didn't work, multiple lights still turn on and off with each button no matter how many times I've performed this process. and with both controllers. Then I realized it was because the remote's supplied batteries were dead or exhausted as stated in the instructions. So I bought and paid for new weird batteries the size of this device. A few days later they arrived and I installed them but the problem remained. At $30 they are grossly overpriced for a 25% rejection rate. The plastic controllers are pretty flimsy, to be honest this product shouldn't go higher than 9.99 because it just doesn't perform well enough to justify the price. I would like to return them, but maybe their team will send me a new test kit. The only thing stopping me now is that I'm scared they'll come out and work just as badly so what's the point. I should probably just return them and see if there's a better product.
