Strong and "Catchy "

Very strong, durable and has a lot of "catch" to it, so it does a great job of stopping slippage. As others have said they aren't particularly soft so I doubt they'd dampen noise, but they will certainly dampen damage from doors, handles etc so I think they mostly serve that purpose.It remains to be seen how strong the adhesive is over time or after going under water many times. I applied mien to a wooden cutting board, so this will be critical in that use case. If they stand up to many washings, definitely a 5 star.
