I'm Very impressed with these Coils, Heavy very solid construction, My 06 Mercury Mountaineer Had #7 coil go out at 129,600, and cracked the #7 spark plug, I had installed all new set of plugs at 98,000 miles, I paid $170.00 parts and Labor, to get both replaced, they would cut me a deal to replace the other 7 somewhere in the close to the $900 range, after looking on line at how hard this is to do (Its Not), I search for a replacement Coil Set and found these, ordered on June 19th received on the 25th, I replaced the other 7 plugs as well, none had oil residue at tip they appeared quite worn for 30,000, In my opinion If you need to replace one or more of Your Coil's, Replace the Spark Plug's as well, A Bad Coil Will Most likely Have been damaging your spark plugs, and putting a new Coil on a Damaged Plug is just asking for problems sooner or later. I replaced all the coils even #7 for appearance sake, and consistence firing (Info states 15% more energy than OEM not really a claim I can verify but why fool around having odd one in there when I've paid for whole set), Was very impressed at startup and 1st drive, Idle was very smooth, and not sure if it was changing coils, spark plugs or both, but my 14.9 mpg city driving started going up currently at 16.4 city driving (True not a big change but we live in Phoenix area and run a/c all the time in summer) no other changes have been made, So far have been pleased with purchase.
