I don't usually like to write bad reviews but in this case I have to. The device looks fantastic and I had high hopes for it. I connected 4 external portable hard drives to it as my small multimedia PC doesn't have USB ports. First all disks were recognized and I initiated a large copy from one disk to another. About 10 minutes after starting work, I suddenly heard a click and noticed the blinking of the indicators on the drives and hub. The copying process was interrupted and a message was displayed that no disks were found. And indeed, none of the drives were now available. And the hub continued to make a clicking sound. Such interruptions and unsafe disk disconnection can lead to data loss. I've regularly copied data between the same drives when connected directly to a PC with no problems, and just finished that big copy by reconnecting directly. Without delay. So the problem is clearly in the hub. Generally not to be trusted. Back immediately.
