Review on Celestron 93428 X Cel 1 25 Inch Barlow by Mark Howard

I have a 20 year old 114 inch Celestron Newtonian telescope that has been sitting in the attic for several years. The most basic eyepieces it has historically come with were terrible at first. However, I enjoy them very much. When Comet Lovejoy caused excitement, I decided to pull out my old telescope. I wiped the mirror and looked up. The eyepieces were scratched and completely unusable. So I bought both the 25mm and 7mm X-Cel eyepieces and the X-Cel LX 3x Barlow lens. All I can say is holy smoke! It's like a brand new telescope. The clarity and field of view are amazing. The X-Cel LX series optics are so worth their price that I really can't tell you how impressed I was with them.
