product reviews and before and after pictures have motivated me to purchase this teeth whitening system. I decided to make a custom mouthguard which was pretty easy to make (and you can see the gel went all the way between your teeth). My only mistake was putting less gel in the tray than the instructions say because I didn't want sensitive gums. After 5 days of treatment I thought I had noticed an improvement (no sore gums) and decided to do this for another 5 days (10 days total) and add some more gel to the splints. After day 10 I definitely saw an improvement but was disappointed that I didn't put enough gel on the mouthguard for the whole process because my teeth could be sparkling white. At this point I will wait 4-6 weeks to resume treatment (I have plenty of gel left). If you put the required amount of whitening gel in the trays, each syringe is enough for 5 days of treatment. The procedure was fairly easy and I did it in the afternoon (since I work from home and didn't have to speak for 30 minutes while I had the gel trays in my mouth). I did it after dinner, then I didn't eat for several hours so as not to spoil the effect. I will be recommending this to friends and will definitely buy another box if I plan to bleach in the future!
