The parts were shipped with Scotch brand auto adhesive strips pre-applied. The strips have been designed with easy-to-grip tabs on the protective backing that need to be removed to reveal the sticky surface. The kit comes with clearly written and illustrated instructions and a neat little jig to make installation easier. Good product.
