Seemed to work - we're in Arizona so not much of a chance to try it out in the rain. Basically, the only thing that needed replacing was the old one, which dangled like a dog with its tail between its legs. Despite anticipating a hard removal (the old one was original, so he was 11 years old), he immediately retired and became an easy replacement. I sympathize with you road salt snowbirds who need a squeegee! Can't confirm if it actually gets deleted or not. The rest of the truck will probably fall apart before I can try it.
