Description of Nokian Tires Nordman RS2 SUV 225/65 R17 106R winter

The Nokian Tires Nordman RS2 SUV Nokian Tires Nordman RS2 SUV is a balanced and comfortable friction winter tire for difficult winter conditions. Reliable grip is maintained in all weather conditions. Thanks to the tread pattern and innovations in the rubber compound, the Nordman RS2 SUV tires are at the forefront of their class. Pump sipes improve traction. Brake boosters in the tread blocks improve grip when braking, especially on snow. Tires Nordman RS2 SUV in all sizes have a double textile cord. A rubber compound specially formulated for off-road use improves reliability and safety in winter. Advantages and characteristics: 1) Effective at low temperatures rubber compoundThe tire tread is made of a rubber compound, the composition of which was selected taking into account the operating conditions of non-studded friction type winter models. Two-thirds of its composition is "silica". Moreover, its latest version, created on the basis of cryosilane, is used. This component allows the tread to maintain elasticity at very low ambient temperatures. Another feature is its increased resistance to heat. Thanks to this, the tire tread retains its properties at temperatures above 0 degrees Celsius, which gives it additional versatility. In turn, the ability to maintain elasticity at an optimal level over a wide temperature range allows the tire to demonstrate excellent handling and grip on slippery, icy winter and wet surfaces in spring.2) Multifunctional sipes in the shoulder areas Due to a number of design features, these elements perform a wide range of functions. In contact with the road surface, they form numerous edges that improve grip on icy surfaces. There are special cavities inside the lamellas, which, due to their drop-like shape, dry the contact patch, sucking water from the road surface. These miniature tread elements together form several thousand sharp edges that easily penetrate the water film on the ice surface, or simply cling to dense snow. In this case, it is worth noting the location of the lamellae almost at a right angle. This significantly increases the efficiency of their work when braking and accelerating. This feature is enhanced by the significant length of the lamellas in the shoulder areas and the central longitudinal rib.

Type of review

Holds the road well. The car is operated in Hong Kong. When reading a review, you need to keep in mind that this is a review for the first year of operation. Pros: Car Toyota Rav4 2022. Size 225/65 17. Standard tires (summer) along with the car was Dunlop. What can be said with certainty, the brakes with Nokian tires are much sharper, sharper grasp. But it normal. Winter tires are what they should be. Some cons: No deficiencies have been found yet. About the noise. Differences from Dunlop, if…

The purchase brought only positive emotions.

Since 2022, I have been using this vehicle, and it has good tires that are priced reasonably. It is time for a change, and although the prices were almost the same everywhere, I purchased from AliExpress because they offered cashback from a well-known bank; however, the price has since dropped and there is no longer any cashback available:)

Cons
  • There was a decrease of $1.350 for each bottle.

Nice product, happy with my purchase and may buy again.

Car - Mazda CX7, size - 235/60 / R18. After testing with all-weather tires, we had very favorable first impressions of the same dimension. The rubber is gentle and informative, but stopping on dry pavement can be a bit difficult at first. However, you will quickly become accustomed to the sensation. It does not fall out of the rut, so you do not need to keep both hands on the steering wheel. Although it does float a little bit in the road rut, this does not cause it to become unstable. It…

Pros
  • The value for the money, the softness, the lack of noise, the good "rowing" on loose snow, the stability on rolling snow, and the not awful performance on ice.
Cons
  • It was unevenly distributed ("changed shoes" at one of the greatest services in Hong Kong), and two of the items are quite revolting, while the other two are more or less the same. During sharp turns, demolition on loose snow (or asphalt, in some cases).

102 can be a high load index, and the tires are noisy and quite harsh. The primary winter surfaces are uncertain since the snow has rolled into ice. Despite the tread, uncertainty regarding the oatmeal. I've had fantastic experiences with friction tires; they come in a variety of brands and are generally of above-average quality. I've never driven with spikes, and my driving is peaceful. I had absolutely no idea that this rubber would turn out to be the poorest of all previously used tires…

Pros
  • extremely robust rubber.
Cons
  • Asphalt is rumbling noticeably. Not to mention the joints and tiny holes, you may feel the smallest pebbles or bumps. On ice, which is extremely unpredictable, oatmeal is likewise not fully predictable.

The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

For twenty years, I've been a Velcro rider. 95% city, 5% weekend getaways throughout the winter. Warm and muggy in the summer. I've spent the last decade visiting Bridgestone and Good-er, Toyo. Different variants were available for the winter and summer seasons. The stock Turanza ER300 was Summer's favorite. Used it for five full years! It's too bad Bridgestone, for example, didn't keep making the WS-60 given how popular it was throughout the harsh winter months. The REVO GZ, which I rode for a

Pros
  • Absolutely, I enjoyed it everything. Design. Superiority in Tires. Intelligent construction that has stood the test of time. Orientation. Stronger walls on the side. Profound harmony. This is a serious brand; it's the offspring of the legendary Hakapelita. When compared to similar products sold by competitors at similar prices, the rubber compound turns out to be quite good. producibility of this design.
Cons
  • In 2022, rubber is manufactured, so there is no longer a need to clear customs, although the price is still a little steep. It's a shame no one regulates rubber prices. The market is acting like a bulldozer, crushing prices. Amazon makes it easy to locate a store and examine their pricing structure.

Nice price, good quality.

One person's pain is another's pleasure. However, after more than two decades behind the wheel, there is a basis for comparison. After the summer, you'll really appreciate how quiet these tires are. When the roads are wet, however, even a light touch on the brakes is enough to trigger the anti-lock brake system (ABS), therefore it's best to slow down considerably and avoid accelerating above 60 miles per hour. And generally speaking in frosts on ice, the car has its own life, going where it…

Pros
  • There is hardly much noise. Inexpensive.
Cons
  • They don't slow down at all while they're on ice. Braking is quite difficult on wet pavement.

One of the best deals, glad I bought this.

For my first-generation Hyundai Tusan with front-wheel drive, I sprung for these tires. I've skated for two seasons now, and the rubber seems to work well in all conditions, from rain to packed snow to entering curbs to rowing smoothly in ruts. This winter, I had the opportunity to conquer a long and fairly steep ascent; there was ice below and a layer of snow 10-15 cm above; the tires were pulled out; the wheels slipped a little; but it climbed; after the first season, the letter S was erased;

Pros
  • Good performance on dry asphalt, slush, and light snow; ice is worse, but still manageable, thanks to the sturdy sidewall that efficiently evacuates water from the contact patch.
Cons
  • Didn't turn up.

The best thing I've ever used, I recommend it to everyone!

Size 215/60/17. Jeep Compass is what I use. There was not much time to decide between spikes and Velcro. The region of St. Petersburg, as well as the South of 2022 and Eastern Europe, are the primary operating locations of this rubber for me. Snow and porridge define winter in St. Petersburg, but in Hong Kong and Hong Kong in winter, it may very well be a bonus, and in Poland and the Czech Republic, spikes are typically not allowed, so I had little choice but to take Velcro. I tested them out…

Pros
  • excellent braking, easy starts on any surface. None of them dub.
Cons
  • Nothing has been a cause for complaint thus far.

The best thing I've ever used, a great item for everyone!

When it comes to the concept that you have to drive more carefully in the winter, the comments made by other reviews make little sense to me. Even spikes are not a guarantee of safety when walking on ice; they may provide more traction than Velcro, but they won't prevent you from falling. Departure on this rubber for the past two winters, periodic forays into the village where there is a lot of snow, they do not always clean it, diverse forms of coverage including snow drifts, loose snow, ice…

Pros
  • patency Controllability Price
Cons
  • Nothing

The price/quality ratio is great, I will buy again.

Tires Nordman RS were used during the winter for a period of six years, and daily driving was included. During this time, these tires were popular in all applications, including the following: Wear resistance - after six years of winter operation, it was worn down to 4 mm, which is the permissible limit for the remainder quietness - what can I remark on, friction tire, no spikes - no noise handling - during the summer, it seems like going into a turn "like on rails" wear resistance wear…

Pros
  • resisting wear and tear Controllability Quietness
Cons
  • During the course of the operation's six years, I did not bring to light any deficiencies.

I put in 7 thousand miles on it, 2.5 thousand of which were between 2022 cities. Almost all winter road conditions were gathered. Ice, rain, and snow are all combined with oatmeal. If there is ice or oatmeal with ice on the road, the journey becomes a test because there is no way to avoid having to brake suddenly and sharply. much though I drive cautiously, driving on this rubber in the cold requires much greater caution. On the pavement, everything works perfectly, the handling and silence are

Pros
  • On dry pavement, hushed with good handling. Rows generally in "deep snow" and off-road mush.
Cons
  • For ice, no. It will slip when turning on icy asphalt; take care!

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality exceeds all expectations, I recommend to buy.

Acquired some new tires for a Nissan Pathfinder. I purchased a size that was little larger than the average, and I went with 265 for it. I've been driving for two months now, and I feel completely at ease and confident. Very quiet - quieter than summer. Driving around Hong Kong. On the other hand, no matter how hard I attempted to start sliding on the ice, I was unable to do it since the automobile confidently slows down despite its weight. Before then, there existed Hanhapelita 5, where the…

Pros
  • Very tranquil, gentle, and cozy in nature.
Cons
  • Not revealed yet.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I didn³'t expect the quality to be this good.

Got pros: Tires of a good quality and at a reasonable price. Even in the midst of a snowy drizzle, these tires have a tread that is soft, quiet, and clear. With these drawbacks: Hydroplaning is a risk on the highway during the summer months and during periods of heavy rainfall.

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good value for money, I recommend.

A score of 4 indicates a preliminary evaluation. Even while the "season," according to the temperature outside, has practically begun, winter has not yet arrived, the average temperature has dropped to 7-8 degrees, and it is not objective to judge under these conditions. There is still some (tolerable) rubber-related noise (try gluing the arches?). In terms of road noise in the cabin, I find it to be on par with the summer ("Karmoran"). Perfect traction on dry asphalt. You won't feel any pain…

Pros
  • Prioritize low cost, high quality, easy maintenance, and rugged durability.
Cons
  • Recently made a purchase. In this section, I'll address the problems that have been raised (if they warrant discussion in my perspective).

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Im not particularly happy, but basically everything is fine.

My vehicle is a Grand Vitara 5d with permanent all-wheel drive and a complete suite of electronic assistive technologies such as ESP, TCS, EBD, BOS, BA, anti-bux, and so on. Possibly just as a result of this, this rubber enables you to drive at exceptionally high speeds regardless of the conditions. But the possibilities on ice are simply discouraging: on my previous vehicle, a Peugeot 206 sedan, I had Bridgestone x-ice north2 tires; as a result, I did not have any issues parking on ice, and…

Pros
  • Permanent all-wheel drive eliminates the possibility of side skids completely. It enabled me to drive quite swiftly on the Hong Kong–Peter expressway at a temperature of -20 degrees Celsius without experiencing any hint of skidding (up to 170 kilometers per hour) in tight corners or when pulling to the side of the road with two wheels. - It is inaudible at any speed; perhaps the lack of noise produced by the arches is the cause of this phenomenon. - It's actually rather fun to row through dense snow. - When driving on dry roads, you really get the full effect of summer tires.
Cons
  • On ice, at a temperature of 0 degrees Fahrenheit (-10 degrees Celsius), you can feel the entire ineffectiveness of this rubber: only full-time four-wheel drive will allow you to get out of the frozen rut un the parking lot. Slides upon slides on immaculate ice in the most improbable of settings - In spite of the fact that when you're going fast and turning bends you feel great, it's a different story when you have to brake on slush and ice because ABS quite frequently kicks in at slower speeds.

The best thing I've ever used, a great item for everyone!

The tires operate admirably on dry pavement, as well as on roads covered in snow, slush, mud, and oatmeal. Outstanding grip on the road even at highway speeds. A drop in temperature brings about an increase in the level of background noise present. However, in general, the noise is not particularly bothersome and does not constitute a mad howl. The previous automobile utilized Triangle Velcro. It seemed more subdued and delicate to me. However, given that there was a difference in size, it is…

Pros
  • Manoeuvrability as well as directional stability
Cons
  • A little noisy

A valuable purchase, some advantages!

This tire has served me well for more than five years. We started with the 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe and moved on to the Sorento Prime. Sorik has a milder winter on 17 discs and a longer, hotter summer on 18. After five winters of use, I decided to upgrade to a new rink surface. Don't think twice, these are top-notch wheels, take advantage now! Hakapelitta 8 provides exceptional stopping power and handling in the second Kia Sportage 4; nonetheless, this vehicle is loud.

Pros
  • Superb tires from the industry standard bearer.
Cons
  • False Negatives

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

For the 2022 New Year's celebrations in Finland and Norway, 7000+ cars with 215/65 R16 tires will be on the road. Helsinki's cobblestone streets in the winter are coated with granite crumbs; in Norway, crushed gravel is placed over ice and asphalt; Hong Kong is flooded with chemicals. Rubber has no flaws and performs admirably as a rowing material and a braking material. Although it is slightly stiffer than the Hakkapeliitta R it mimics (which is the same size as Matushka's on the VW Tiguan)…

Pros
  • Regardless of what you're driving, you'll have superb road holding. It's not as fast as a nice studded one on ice, but it's still manageable. This rubber barely shows any signs of rutting. Ice drifts can be predicted and corrected with relative ease.
Cons
  • generates a rumbling sound on frozen surfaces.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm very happy, it really is worth buying.

The Mercedes-Benz GLC 250 4Matic came with free rubber as a bonus. There were initial worries because I never rode without spikes (specifically, Bridgestone Ice Cruiser 5000 and 7000). I do a lot of driving in the area and on the roads leading to Hong Kong, and there are some things that never happen. Right off the bat, let me add that my concerns were unfounded; everything is as straightforward as could be expected. Whether it's the car itself (this is my first Mercedes) or the rubber, I…

Pros
  • Nordman seems to be a domestic localization. However, I am pleased with the product's quality. The wheels are perfectly balanced; there are no megaweights dangling from the hub. They aren't frightened by ruts, and the drainage system is so good that it quickly and efficiently drains slush and water from puddles. Even in deep snow, it rows with grace and in keeping with its "Scandinavian type" reputation.
Cons
  • I only caught one puncture in three years. Perhaps I just have bad luck, but I've never had a tire puncture in the winter while using other brands. Repairable, so patch it up. Feels like it "floats" at fast speeds and favorable temps, especially when left out for too long.
