I used them to connect the four LED strips in the "Christmas Arches" to the power supply. These connectors are ok, but nothing special. I don't expect them to last year after year without cleaning and maintenance but they have a secure fit, rubber gasket and threaded rings to hold them together. Wire gauge can be 18 or 20 gauge at best. They can become the bottleneck of your current carrying solution, so be aware of that. They are convenient, the ends of the wires are tinned with solder. I had no problems soldering copper wires.
