Let me start by saying that I had no intention of programming this into my machine. The internal buttons on my existing key fobs had come loose and were so worn that they barely worked even if I could get them to stay in place. I removed the button pads from this new key fob, used the rubber and pads on my original circuit board, and put everything back into the original case. I highly recommend using these cheap alternatives if you have a key with a working plate but the rest of the internal seals and rubber have worn out. With my car I would have to pay the dealer or locksmith for programming and currently I don't need another key fob. Great for spares if your board is ok!
