Review on πŸ”ͺ Enhance Your Edge with IMAGE Sharpening Sharpener: Professional Stone System by Ryan Brunson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Now I have scary sharp knives

When I received these stones they were double bagged and wrapped in bubble wrap and again in thick foam rubber. I assume they read the reviews about the broken parts and fixed them. First you'd better mark them on the back because the sand seal is the first thing you will lose. Second, you must use them on the sharpener. Using these small stones free hand is nearly impossible. Only use the 180 stone once on each blade just to set a new angle, any other use will only complicate your work. As the grit increases, your work will take longer, so expect 3000 to take longer than 400 to sand the edge. I used oil and water to see what works best. I like water mainly because of the ease of cleaning. The oil seems to seep in everywhere. As far as wear goes, my first stone set was able to sharpen about 20 6" to 12" kitchen knives before I ordered this set. Not all stones wear out at the same rate, so the 400s and 800s started to wear out with use, and $12 is worth ordering a new set. 3 feet) to a concert and it broke in half. So I stopped using oil and switched to water ;-)
