I really like these shorts. For reference, I'm 5'10", 144 lbs and usually wear 28-29" pants or one US size smaller. The small US size fits me very well, although they are slightly shorter to wear outside the house, so I wear them at home for home workouts. I'm also a medium US size and they are a bit longer but still fit my waist. It's a bit more comfortable for me on the road, although I still wear 3/4 compression shorts underneath when I run. Overall great shorts, very comfortable to wear with or without underwear. They have withstood repeated washing and drying in the washer and dryer without issue (no noticeable fading or fabric shrinkage).
