As mentioned, these are Honeywell branded OEM seals with an AgIon coating. The AgIon coating is probably the main benefit when paying the premium for these particular pads over the regular versions that you can buy for about half the price, in addition to their durability. I have used the generic Bestair and also Idylis versions of this pad and although the pads worked well they had to be replaced after 3 months. The lack of the Agion coating on universal versions causes a noticeable musty odor after around 2-4 weeks of use. My humidity is set at 40% and the outside temperature is in the range below 30 degrees Fahrenheit. If you have a whole house humidifier with a water pillow this size, even if it's a different version from Honeywell. The cost is the same or less than generics as Honeywell pads last twice as long in my experience. By the way, make sure you buy them directly from Revain. I bought mine from a third party and they regularly sent me no name branded pads. Revain sent me the correct devices and promptly refunded the counterfeit devices that a third party had sent me.
