I bought this docking station right after I bought my new Samsung Pro Book laptop, which has a thunderbolt connection, and two USB-C connectors. I've used a wireless Logitech mouse with a dongle plugged into one of the USB ports on the docking station, plugged my iPhone into the docking station, and both worked/interfaced with no problems. I would have given this a 5 star except that I haven't tried adding a second monitor via the docking station. I expect it to work but I reserved my rating until I positively know that it does work. So far I'd say it was a great buy for the price.
