I recently purchased a reconditioned vintage Singer model 99K sewing machine. I bought these to replace the straps that came with it. They arrived and I changed them in time to sew masks during quarantine. The smaller one that goes to the spooler went on easily and works like a charm. The larger one keeping the main engine running broke down after two hours of operation. I'm sure I put it on right because it's not my first. The machines of that time are not complex mechanisms. However, this belt is a very important component. It's thick rubber and I can get a lot more out of it than I can in two hours. Luckily for me, the old one was still in the trash. I was able to clean it and continue to use it to make the necessary masks that my husband needed to keep at work. This product was a waste of time and money!
