I have sensitive skin and don't take bandages well. I often spend more time tending to the skin around the wound than behind the wound itself. Paper tape causes me less pain but doesn't stick as well and obviously isn't very flexible. And most tapes give me trouble, although they're usually a little better than any band-aid. My dermatologist recommended using Hypafix over a non-stick dressing. (I usually cut a large notebook into smaller pieces of the size I need.) This changed my game. Hypafix is very flexible so sticks well and keeps the bandage in place when I use it on areas of skin that move a lot. The flexibility also prevents pain when putting the bandage on. The adhesive is strong enough to get the job done without irritating my skin. I really love this product! Due to the way it was shipped, the product box was completely crushed when it arrived. It drives me crazy when I see the box and the back is very crumpled. However, the tape is still usable.
