I've tried dozens of different routers over the past 12-18 months (consider it an odd hobby). It has the best range and throughput I've tried, even with standard 802.11g client cards. It also has fantastic features including QoS, dynamic DNS, WDS, port forwarding/forwarding, static DHCP assignments etc etc. The only negative things I can say are: It has a silly looking "wireless router" label with backlight. top (though not as bad as Netgear's rotating LEDs); Also, the router gets hot. All in all a very worthwhile upgrade, even compared to my previous MIMO router. By the way, I get a full 802.11n connection with my dlink wifi card, so the compatibility seems good. Edit: There are now THREE different versions of this. Make sure you have the latest firmware. New edit: Since 11/2007 (v1.0.3.x) I'm having trouble maintaining a stable connection. It seems to be related to some changes in Atheros (I had the same problem with Zyxel). I disabled both WISH ("Wireless Intelligent Streaming") and the Wi-Fi Protected setting and the problem went away, although it could just be a coincidence.
