I had low expectations as I feel there isn't much that can be done to control kitty litter odor. I used to use another deodorant that was at least better than nothing, but it couldn't deal with the nasty stuff coming off my two cute kittens. This other deodorant was cheap so I was like everyone else. But I decided to save $11 to see if anything else would work and bought NonScents. I have a tray in the laundry room where there is no ventilation so yes it can get worse even if I shovel at least twice a day. I put 2 capsules of NonScents on top of the filling without scooping anything out. I swear the stench went down to zero in minutes. I thought I was crazy because I thought there was nothing that could 100% eliminate the smell but it's been a week and I still can't feel anything. I haven't had to use laundry aeration since adding this stuff to the filler (which slowed down the dying since I've used it so often). The other things I used I had to add every few days and even then there was always a sustained funk that I figured I'd just have to get used to. I'm so glad I bought NonScents. Although I wish it was cheaper, I'd pay $20 for it just because it works so well.
