Unreliable for EV chargers

I returned the first one I bought because my 2015 Leaf kept charging wrong. This usually increases the battery by about 40-60% and then the error occurs. Thinking I had a defective block, I sent the first one back for replacement, and then the second one exhibited the same behavior. The error occurred between 30 minutes and 3 hours of charging. Judging by the LEDs on the front of the device, the error that occurred was called "Abnormal Current (SCP)". I wrote to the company to find out what this means and what could be causing the problem, but I never got a response from them on the matter. I tried to call a company in China but unfortunately couldn't reach a live person. In my experience, you're unlikely to get more than one email response if you have a problem. Both devices I had came with a nice carrying case, strong cables, cable hangers and they were well packaged. Although I didn't try it, I liked the 120V adapter option. The first unit had about 25 feet of output cord from the electronics box, but for some reason the second only had 20 feet. Not sure what the difference is. It seems that several different companies are selling the same devices with several different options, plugs and cable lengths available. My guess is that a company would mass produce blocks for the electronics and then the resellers would just piece them together with a few different options. Or maybe it's the same company that sells them under different brand names like Zencar, Duosida, Primecon and OrionMotorTech. I finally settled on the Juicebox and haven't had any charging issues so far.
