Standing under any sink is no fun, not to mention the complexity and size of the components (a huge storage tank and a fairly large bracket with three Filters are also extra special.) We have the GXRM10RBL model. If you don't have the big plastic "special wrench" to remove and install the filter, you'll need to run one of these b4's. YOU MUST (SHOULD) FLUSH THE SYSTEM ACCORDING TO THE INSTRUCTIONS. This is a very time consuming and labor intensive process, but the result is worth it. In our case, it was also necessary to replace the water softener with a reverse osmosis system. The installer tested our water for hardness and chlorine before replacing the softener and although the ROS system filters have been there for 5 years they still filter out over 90% of the chlorine and other contaminants. A NOTICE. We have a softener that filters B4 water that goes into the reverse osmosis system! We wish you good luck and patience. A few soft blankets to ease the pain in your back and sides help a lot to lean on the cabinet under the sink. Also, I didn't know the stock tank could be moved until I accidentally hit it. So now you know ahead of time that it can be put out of the way to make life MUCH easier!
