I have never tried water balloons before, we wanted to experiment with my daughter and she loved the balloons. Once put in water we left them overnight to get their full effect, we placed flower vases, we used them in different glass containers and the blue color is absolutely beautiful. Great reusable item, the container has lots of them and we only have 1/3 of the 50,000 beads we received so we have a lot more room to experiment with different uses.
