Wouldn't buy it again. The ability to stick in place on the table is like they put olive oil on the bottom of the mat. My 2 year old was able to whip that thing off the table like a tissue.

Bought this as a placemat for my grandson. I was a teacher and my daughter-in-law is a teacher and it is important to us that we start early with my grandson on the ABC's. Each letter has a picture of an animal with it so it is easy to relate to the letter.

Sturdy and easy to clean. I didn't notice when I ordered it that the pictures are mostly animals with just a few objects and people included - it makes for a sort of odd combination. But my daughter enjoys identifying all of things that are pictured.

Product is high quality and nonskid for our table. Perfect for our 3 yr old who has shown lots of interest in saying the alphabet as well.

My son loves this placemat! It's educational and he likes learning about the different animals. Unfortunately, the placemat isn't as slide-resistant as I had hoped- really, I should have gotten one that he can't move at all (suction). It also came slightly bent in the middle, which is annoying but wasn't worth the time to send back for a replacement.

The letters are easy to read, and the pictures are very identifiable. ("X-Ray Fish" is a kind of bizarre choice for X, but we can live with it.) It keeps our "big kid" entertained at the table while we finish preparing meals, and it contains messes. The non-slip aspect works pretty well, too.

My daughter and I love this. It sticks to the table well enough for my purposes--I hadn't expected a miracle, completely unmoving placemat. My daughter loves the pictures.

It does its job, it keeps food off of the table. However it slides more than I would like. My son can easily push it around with his hand. The bowl on top will stay in place but the mat moves around.I like that it has the alphabet on it and we can teach my son when he eats.

I like the size of this placemat and it wipes off easily, but it does not grip to wood tables with grooves. Thanks for attention.

The product is cute and educational, but I primarily bought it because it was non slip. Maybe it’s not meant for glass surfaces, because it doesn’t stick at all. My toddler literally picks it up and turns it upside down and throws it around.

I needed some kind of mat or pad for my son to do his homework on because he likes to do it on the kitchen island while I cook, etc. and our island is tiled. This has just enough grab so it stays in place, and easily washes clean.I would definitely recommend and will probably buy a second one tomput in the rotation.

Been using the placemat on our wood dining table. After a month of use the back plastic pellets started coming off all over the table. Will throw this away, don’t want plastic the could be consumed near our food.

Great product. Easy to clean. Big enough for messy eaters and the best part is that it does not slip and move around like other placemats we have tried. We really like the alphabet on the mat since my toddler is learning his letters. Only downside I would say is the letters are a little foggy and not super crisp ink. Also small print It’s the only reason for the 4 stars.

I liked it but it slips so it's difficult to keep the food inside with a 2 year old playing with the mat The product may not be eco-friendly or sustainable!

Really cute placemat. It's pretty wide, which is nice and the non-slip bottom seems to be legit. I am confident that my daughter will still be able to get it off the table (it's not sticky, just doesn't slide around), but I think it will take enough effort that we will be able to stop her in the act :)

Amazing! Stay in place and wash well. The bonus is that I get to sneak in a little learning at snack time which is so important right now dirimg the pandemic!. Great product. Highly recommend!

Our 6th Merka placemat. Easy to clean, kids like them, they don't slide around too easily, seems like they will last a long time!

I am very happy with this product. It has protected my dining room table from my son's food disasters and has even been educational. He loves pointing out all the pictures and telling me the names of the animals and items. It has withstood tons of washes and wipe downs. I would definitely order more!

When I ordered the product, it was my understanding I was ordering 2 placemats. (website was not clear). Surprise, surprise--only one arrived, not enough for 2 grandchildren! Need to re-order.
