Sewn-in pirate dog design means there are plenty of lace loops hanging in the sock guaranteed to catch your toenails, making this product even worse for silly design . The elastic at the top is flimsy and they aren't as long as they should be so there's just nothing to hold these things in place and I had to pick up one every 10 minutes. If they were very long (but not wider) I would expect them to hold up much better. On the other hand, if the elastic at the top was very tight and strong, it might as well hold in place.
