A lightweight backpack can be heavy on its own depending on what you're packing, but it's very durable. What struck me about this backpack is how easy it is to clean! My daughter spilled red juice on it before she even had a chance to use it and it just rolled off where it was stuck and I was able to remove it with BABY WIPE. This is a great backpack for a toddler. It's quite small and won't fit in her full size coloring book, but will fit on her iPad mini with a case! Definitely worth the money, we loved it as she continued our journey.
