Oh my god I love this stuff! When I was young, I took photos with all sorts of Polaroid cameras. Various models with 600 film, Joycam, Mio, I-Zone. Heck, even my first digital camera was a giant Olympus ALSO printed on 500 film Yes you are essentially taking a screenshot of your phone so it acts like a darkroom enlarger but on a much smaller/portable scale! Edited - I saw another review and actually meant Camera Obscura haha. No batteries or Bluetooth connection required! I think the appeal of instant photos is that they come out unexpectedly, that the prints aren't super sharp but kind of dreamy and blurry, if that makes sense. I love this gadget because the results are so similar to OG polaroid prints! You can also take multiple exposures if you want. Just remember to turn off the brightness completely and turn off the screen rotation, you know, follow the instructions. Now I haven't used any other photo printers because they are quite expensive but this is an absolute steal! By the way, Holga is currently running a Kickstarter campaign for something incredibly similar but over $$$. Just take this one!
