Good product but not enough, too much packaging

I bought these for my Noctua NF-P12 redux-1700 PWM fan. Let's be honest, we love Noctua for the performance, not the looks or the price. At the same time, my fans look good with these corners. However, I originally thought I would install them on the back of the fans for their anti-vibration abilities. Now I want them to be on both sides of my fans. One to two dollars per fan seems reasonable as a surcharge. But I have four fans, so I need two packs (four corners x two sides x four fans = 32). Well, that's three or four bucks a fan, which is less value to me. Won't the Noctua be damaged so badly that it needs four fans on both sides? But then again, I love Noctua products for their performance, not the looks or the price, so I can't deduct a star for that. In terms of packaging, the box is over the top for the amount of product it contains. Oddly enough, the box contained a neoprene rubber sheet to keep this far from fragile items. I needed this special material to reduce the vibration of my non-Noctua pump. (Please please make super quiet D5 pumps) So I happen to be happy with the packaging and can't deduct a star for overpacking. But that annoys me as the entire Redux line aims to keep costs down by eliminating unnecessary accessories. Noctua if you are reading this you should downsize or eliminate the box, ditch the neoprene and either increase the number of corners included or lower the price. I'm usually 100% satisfied with Noctua purchases. For the above reasons, I'm only 90% satisfied. One percentage point less and I would have had to give my first non-five star review on any of your products.
